Kevin Babington out of surgery
On Tuesday 3rd of September, Irish rider Kevin Babington went through surgery following a fall in Friday’s Grand Prix qualifier at the Hampton Classic Horse Show. Sustaining an injury to his cervical spine, the five-hour surgery was aimed to stabilize the bones in Babington’s neck.
According to the GoFundMe page that has been set up to help cover Babington’s medical expenses, the surgery went well.
The GoFundMe has been set up in coordination with a Facebook fundraiser campaign, to help Babington’s family with the medical expenses. So far, over $400,000 has been donated.
